Q2 has been another busy and rewarding quarter for Atlantas Marine, marked by significant project milestones, successful demonstrations and continued investment in the people and technologies that drive our business forward.

While we’ve attended industry events and launched new solutions, our biggest achievement has been spending less time talking about capability and more time proving it. Across offshore energy, defence and subsea operations, we’ve continued to demonstrate that experience, innovation and practical expertise deliver real value to our customers.

Offshore Inspection Delivered Efficiently

Off the coast of North Wales, our team completed the full inspection of two offshore substation platforms from a crew transfer vessel.

Every jacket face, structural leg and cable riser was inspected over just nine days, providing the client with a comprehensive, high-quality dataset that can now be used to monitor structural condition and trends year after year.

The project highlighted the efficiency of modern ROV-based inspection methods, reducing mobilisation requirements while maintaining exceptional data quality.

International Capability in Malaysia

Our expertise also took us to Malaysia, where we supported inspection work on a tension leg platform for a major offshore operator.

Using a compact, internationally deployable inspection system, we delivered survey data comparable to that traditionally achieved using significantly larger and more expensive spreads.

This project demonstrated how intelligent system design and experienced operators can provide clients with a more efficient, cost-effective approach without compromising quality.

Demonstrating Technology Through Experience

Technical capability isn’t just something we supply; it’s something we actively use.

During the quarter, Mark Salter spent a week in the Scottish Highlands demonstrating subsea tooling alongside Lateral AS and VideoRay.

Because our engineers regularly deploy and operate the systems we provide, we understand how they perform in real-world conditions. That means we can advise customers based on operational experience rather than simply quoting specifications from a brochure.

Showcasing Innovation at Industry Events

Q2 also saw Atlantas Marine exhibiting and launching new technologies at several major industry events.

At Oceanology International, the Typhoon ROV Latch attracted significant attention from visitors looking for practical solutions to improve subsea operations.

We also launched the new Wraith ROV alongside VideoRay at the Combined Naval Event, introducing another capable platform to support defence and underwater operations.

Later in the quarter, our team attended Global Offshore Wind in Manchester, where we engaged with operators, developers and contractors across one of the UK’s fastest-growing offshore sectors.

These events provided an excellent opportunity to demonstrate our technologies, meet existing customers and discuss the future of underwater inspection, intervention and remotely operated systems.

The Team Behind the Technology

Behind every successful mobilisation and product launch is a dedicated engineering team.

The same engineers who recently trialled our new M500 skid in Portland are also the people who service customer equipment, provide technical support and deliver operator training.

That continuity gives our customers confidence that the people developing and testing new systems are the same people supporting them in the field.

Celebrating a Milestone

July also gave us the opportunity to celebrate one of our own.

Nikki Parnham marked an incredible 20 years with Atlantas Marine. A fantastic achievement and a reminder that long-term experience and strong relationships remain at the heart of our business.

It was a welcome opportunity for the team to pause, reflect on a successful first half of the year and celebrate together.

Looking Ahead

As we move into the second half of 2026, our focus remains the same: delivering practical underwater solutions backed by real operational experience.

Whether supporting offshore inspections, subsea intervention, defence applications or operator training, we continue to help customers benefit from faster mobilisation, better-quality data and proven technology operated by experienced professionals.

Thank you to our customers, partners and dedicated team for making another successful quarter possible.
