By the end of the course, participants will be able to:
Day 1: Theory and Safety
Introduction to ROV Systems:
Overview of ROV technology, subsystems, and components.
Understanding ROV applications across different sectors.
ROV Operations and Safety Protocols:
Safe deployment and retrieval of ROVs.
Introduction to emergency procedures and operational safety.
Basic ROV Navigation:
Multi-axis navigation in shallow water environments.
Understanding tether management and ROV control interfaces.
Day 2: Practical Operations
Hands-on ROV Operation:
Practical exercises involving ROV control, maneuvering, and task execution.
Observation and recording of underwater environments.
ROV Maintenance & Troubleshooting:
Identifying and solving common operational issues.
Routine checks and preventive maintenance techniques.
Mission Planning and Data Collection:
Planning basic ROV missions, executing tasks, and capturing data for analysis.
ROV Model: Participants will gain experience operating the Pro 5.
Tools & Accessories: High-definition cameras, sonar systems, and manipulators.
By the end of the course, participants will be able to:

Do I need prior experience to attend this course?
No prior experience with ROVs is required. The Foundation ROV Operator Course is designed for beginners as well as professionals looking to build or enhance their skills in ROV operation.
What equipment will be used during the training?
Participants will get hands-on experience with our industry-leading mission specialist series ROV’s. Training also includes the use of advanced cameras, sonar systems, and simulation technology for a comprehensive learning experience.
Will I receive a certification upon completing the course?
Yes, upon successful completion of the course, you will receive a Foundation ROV Operator Certificate. This certification is recognized across sectors and demonstrates your competency in operating ROVs safely and effectively.
