Digital Acoustic Real-time Seabed Classification

QTC VIEW is a digital acoustic seabed classification system using proven techniques to rapidly characterise targeted seabeds. Classification is accomplished using an approach based on the shape of the first returning echo from the seabed; different seabeds provide different acoustic signatures. Bottom types are then organised into discrete units, thereby providing classification associated with the diversity of the seabed.

The QTC VIEW hardware connects to the transducer cable of your echosounder, and sends data based on the returning pulse shape to a PC for classification.
