QTC IMPACT™ software for unsupervised post-processing of echo data provides a suite of powerful algorithms enabling you to get the most from single beam data.

Classification is accomplished using an approach based on the shape of the first returning echo signal from the seabed. Different seabeds provide different acoustic signatures. Bottom types are organised into discrete units, thereby providing classification associated with the diversity of the seabed, incorporating both geological and biological features.
