The Vector Series of GPS compasses are designed to provide your marine navigation system with reliable, accurate heading and position information

The Vector is a rugged "smart antenna" system that combines two GPS receivers and two multipath-resistant antennas into a single enclosure about a half-metre long. Using a sophisticated moving base station Real-Time Kinematic (RTK) technique, the Vector provides heading information to within half-degree (0.5) accuracy - enough to replace traditional gyrocompasses for many applications at only a fraction of the cost.

The Vector, besides providing accurate headings with GPS signals, also delivers sub-metre DGPS positioning accuracy when using decoded correction data.

Vector products are capable of outputting five differentially corrected GPS positions per second, and 10 heading information corrections per second. The Vector products also have integrated MEMS (micro electro mechanical systems) sensors to assist in the rapid, robust acquisition of GPS satellite signals.
