Nauticast X-Pack DS AIS System Fully compliant with IMO legislation for Universal Automatic Identification System Transponders, and Wheelmark approved, Nauticast X-Pack DS can be used as a stand-alone unit or integrated into ENC/ECDIS for traffic image display. It can also interface with existing NMEA compatible equipment, also with PCs, notebooks, radar systems and voyage data recorders. X-Pack DS allows the user to take on the perspective of neighbouring vessels (and vice versa). It can look round corners especially useful on inland waters and can see through the thickest fog. Extreme weather conditions and busy traffic environments do not interfere with operation. Unique to X-Pack DS, the fully alphanumeric keyboard, combined with simple, easy to use menu navigation, ensures systems are quickly operational. A prominent SRM button sends Broadcast Safety Related Messages to all ships within range. The MOB button automatically saves precise position coordinates of any incident, automatically generating an alert message sent out to all vessels in range. |
