Atlantas Marine are preparing to announce a new initiative at Seawork 2013 in June. Launching at the beginning of July the UK-based company want to ensure every small commercial vessel in the UK and Ireland is fitted with cost-effective navigation safety equipment. This new initiative comes on the back of increased customer demand for better value systems, particularly AIS and BNWAS, ahead of legislative change coming in to force over the next five years.
“Over the last few years we’ve seen small vessel budgets squeezed and regulation increased - everyone needs more for less. In March Atlantas Marine launched an incredible bulk deal on Bridge Navigation Watch Alarm Systems (BNWAS) which is ideal for port associations and fleet operators. We have also negotiated competitive rates on the latest generation Nauticast AIS systems from 1st-relief, one of the most reliable systems on the market” said Marketing Co-Ordinator Fi Edwards.
Atlantas Marine specialise in the supply of equipment to the commercial marine industry including Bridge Navigation Watch Alarm Systems (BNWAS), Automatic Identification Systems (AIS), Voyage Data Recorders (VDR), Ship Security Alert Systems (SSAS) and Long Range Identification & Tracking (LRIT). The company are also an approved agent and service centre for the highly portable Video Ray Pro 4; the world’s best-selling mini-ROV and the recently relaunched Ocean Modules V8; the only inspection class ROV that allows pitch and roll through a full 360 degrees.
Atlantas Marine will be exhibiting on stand D27 at Seawork International between the 25th and 27th June 2013.
