The VideoRay Pro 4 is the latest addition to VideoRay's range of ROVs. With updated electronics and software, increased thruster power and improved depth rating, the Pro 4 is the most versatile inspection ROV available.
A depth rating of 300 meters is standard, and improvements in the electronics allow for greater total tether length (up to 500 meters) and much better power transmission over long tethers. New sensors, including a 3D compass and MEMS gyro improve navigational capabilities. A high quality video camera & high intensity LED lighting allow for very clear video and stills to be recorded, particularly in difficult lighting conditions.
The intuitive "VideoRay Cockpit" control software allows more functionalilty and diagnostics than were ever possible with earlier ROV systems. VideoRay's commitment to making software updates available free of charge, ensures that existing customers will always have access to the latest features.
The Pro 4 is sold in a variety of configurations designed to suit common ROV applications. Configurations currently available include Search & Recovery, Commercial Diving, Port Security, Offshore, Nuclear Inspection, Work Boat, Potable water, Aquaculture, and Science & Research.

Pro 4 HY300BASE - An excellent budget system but with complete Pro 4 functionality. Includes Pro 4 submersible, control panel with built in Laptop, 40m tether and logitech controller.
Pro 4 AQ300MS - This configuration is exceptional value and suitable for a wide range of ROV tasks. The system includes a Pro 4 submersible, control panel with built in PC, 125m Neutral Tether with TDS & Manipulator.
Pro 4 SAR300BASE - Designed specifically for search and recovery operations but suitable for a wide range of operations, this system includes a Pro 4 submersible, control panel with built in PC, 150m tether with extra capacity TDS, manipulator and lyyn video enhancer.
All Pro 4 systems can easily accomodate 3rd party sensors without any modification including sonars, tracking systems, additional cameras, UT gauge & CP probe.
A wide range of upgrade options are also available including MIL spec ToughBook PC, Industrial Hand Controller, additional 15 inch Monitor and various exension tethers.
Warranty
All new VideoRay systems are supplied with a 2 year manufacturers warranty. This will also cover all shipping costs in the event of a warranty claim for the first year. Full terms & conditions available.
Atlantas Marine is an authorised VideoRay service center, and as such all VideoRay servicing & repair work is undertaken at our UK based workshop. This allows us to offer very quick turn around times and give our customers the support they need.
High Efficiency Brushless Thrusters
The VideoRay Pro 4’s highly efficient brushless thrusters deliver unparalleled performance and reliability, producing the highest thrust-to-vehicle weight and thrust-to-drag ratios in the industry. Enhanced vertical thrust and pitch-enhanced dive and surface modes get you to and from your working depth quickly, while the ducted hydrodynamic float maximizes efficiency and allows for optimal ROV stabilization.
Motor controllers are tuned for lightning-fast responsiveness. In conjunction with joystick sensitivity and independently adjustable gain these features ensures precision handling and the dexterity to position and hold the ROV exactly where you need it.
Camera Systems
The VideoRay Pro 4 is equipped with a high resolution colour camera, equipped with wide dynamic range and backlight compensation to give you the most detailed pictures even in difficult lighting situations. The camera is optimized for underwater use and offers ultra low-light sensitivity by including automatic or manual switching between colour and black and white modes. There are more than 20 user controllable settings that can be managed from the surface.
Ultra High Intensity LED Lighting
Industry leading LED lighting provides 3,600 lumens of light.
The forward light reflectors have been engineered to distribute the light evenly throughout the camera tilt range. Lights are positioned outside the main pressure hull to provide the greatest separation from the camera. Separation is extremely important in minimizing backscatter and reflections.
Internal Sensors
The VideoRay Pro 4 includes enhanced navigation features including a 3D Compass and a MEMS Rate GYRO, and a depth sensor with accuracy better than 1 inch allowing very stable auto depth and auto heading modes.
The VideoRay Pro 4’s internal sensors can detect vital information including temperature, moisture (in the unfortunate event of a leak), and a range of internal diagnostics. This information can be essential in reducing downtime while keeping the mission going.
Ergonomic 12 Button Hand Controller
Intuitive and ergonomic VideoRay controls allow you to pilot the ROV instinctively and comfortably. No specialized training is required for basic operations.
Complete ROV control, including recording of still images and video is available through the hand controller. Additional functions and custom configurations can be added using the programmable feature of the 12-button industrial hand controller.
