The VideoRay Explorer ROV System has been configured for ROV users who require more functionality than the Scout system but still have a limited budget. The VideoRay Explorer ROV system includes the 8 – pound submersible, control panel, tether, manual, and tool kit.
All components fit in watertight Pelican cases that fit easily in the trunk of a car or in an airline luggage compartment. The Explorer adds a higher resolution 160 degree tilt camera, water depth meter, auto depth feature, compass heading readout, and run time meter.
The Explorer includes a fixed color camera and a 7 inch LCD color display monitor. An external video monitoring/recording device that has a composite video input is recommended for recording missions.
