High Resolution Forecasting - 72 hour range
Nowcasting International’s innovative high resolution forecasting tool is called Nowcasting Pro. This user friendly metocean operational tool is designed to provide the quality information to support offshore operational decision-making for increased safety and efficiency.
The data is displayed on a PC ashore or onboard the vessel and is transferred using standard maritime communications equipment, GSM, satellite phone, e-mail or via the internet

Nowcasting International in conjunction with its partner Wilkens Weather Technologies offers a global general forecasting service to offshore and marine industries; the NowcastingWilkens Service.
The NowcastingWilkens general forecasting service can be provided through a secure website, via email and by fax.
The NowcastingWilkens General Forecasting solution includes:
- Twice daily customised weather reports in text, graphical and tabular format with 24, 48, 72 hour, 5 day and extended outlooks up to 10 days.
- Availability of detailed handwritten and computer generated metocean synoptic charts.
- Severe weather warnings and amendments to the regular weather reports issued via Internet pop ups, email, or phone conferencing as conditions warrant.
- Availability of 24/7 meteorologist consultation service – when weather related problems threaten your operations, our staff is available to conference with your personnel regarding specific weather information critical to your decision making process.

NowcastingWilkens customised weather reports can cover any or all of the following parameters:
- Wind speed and direction at 10 & 50 metres.
- Significant and maximum wave height in metres.
- Wave period in seconds.
- Swell direction, period in seconds and height in metres.
- Visibility in nautical miles.
