Natural History Museum Use VideoRay Pro 4 HD

NHM Pro 4 HD

Atlantas Marine are pleased to announce the delivery of a VideoRay Pro 4 HD system to the Natural History Museum in London.

Combining the versatile VideoRay Pro 4 ROV with full 1080p HD video makes a powerful package for producing broadcast quality underwater video, and will be used by Dr Adrian Glover and the museum's zoology department to assist with research of marine life.

Nicknamed “ROVREX” - 'Remotely operated vehicle for Education and eXploration', the ROVs first research mission will be to the Bahamas.

The integrated high speed fibre optic link allows underwater HD video to be displayed in real time on large monitors on the survey boat. The VideoRay is also equipped with standard definition camera, manipulator, cutter and micron scanning sonar for navigation.
